Panjat pinang ( Mounting Nut ) is a popular traditional contest in celebration of Indonesian Independence Day.. A high nut tree and its trunk covered by lubricants prepared by the race committee. At the top of the tree, put up prizes. The participants compete to earn these prizes by climbing trees.
