Nature / Alfred Russel Wallace replica house at West Papua


Alfred Russel Wallace (8 January 1823 – 7 November 1913) was a British naturalist, explorer, geographer, anthropologist, and biologist. When, in the mid 19th century, he made explorations in Singapore, Indonesia and Malaysia. This replica was located inside the Gam Island, Waigeo - West Papua. No one know where he stay, but local peoples believe that Wallace is ever stay and explored the Gam Island so they made a replica house from the story as told by their ancestors.
