They play sequences from Indian mythology. 'Gajan' is a rural festival of West Bengal.The festival is associated with various gods . But the main object of this festival is to celebrate the marriage of the sun and the earth. The reason for this festival is perhaps to appease the sun and pray for rain during the summer. The devotees use to dress like the gods and goddesses and are known as 'bohurupees'. Here the 2 women are busy with transforming a little girl to one of the hindu goddess
