
Indians play with colored powder during Lath mar Holi at Nandagao, 32 km from Mathura, India, March 03, 2012. The Lath mar Holi is a local celebration of the Hindu festival of Holi. The name means "that Holi in which people hit with sticks". Legend has it that Lord Krishna started the tradition of colours by first applying colour on his beloved Radha’s face. Following the tradition still today the local people of those villages play Holi, but instead of colours they are greeted with sticks.
