Nature / The Endangered Arabian Oryx in the Wild

During my expedition amidst the desert of United Arab Emirates; I was so lucky to photograph into its natural habitat the endangered Arabian Oryx (Oryx leucoryx). Oryx are unique in that although they can live for weeks without water, they have an uncanny ability to detect water from miles away. In 1972, the Arabian Oryx was declared extinct in the wild.
