The Clown of Gajan Festival is an extinct form of folklore art in rural Bengal. During this festival, the rural people paint their body to make up them as various God or Goddess of Hindu mythology. Then they perform various mythological act from door-to-door of the village. This is a ritual part of the seven days long festival.
