Lake Inle is the only place in the world where the fishermen row their boats with their legs. As to why and when they adopted this unique way of rowing no one really know. This photograph represents a man in the net. As Myanmar opens up, these people are caught in a situation whereby their way of life may be adversely affected. Like a man caught in his own net, I wonder how they will be able to keep their culture and their traditions.
