Nature / FRIEND OR ENEMY

Cooperation among fellow workers is at its peak in almost all species of ants. I observed that whenever any ant got injured in territorial fights or daily activities healthy ones help her to reach to the nest or barrack nests. Here a normal healthy Harvester ant is carrying her injured nest mate (who is still alive but has lost her half body in an accident and now there is no possibilities for her survival) towards nest for treatment or as meal, it is a mystery.
