Weaver ants (Oecophylla smaragdina) not only kill various insects but also predate and brutally kill other ant species, encountering in their way. In this picture the skilled workers are carrying a different ant species. This is a great and magnificent example of inter specific competition which is responsible for their evolutionary radiation and success in this planet.
