Culture / Morning Catch

The fisherman on his canoe was casting his net early dawn at Taungthaman Lake. A cast net also called a throw net is thrown by hand in such a manner that it spreads out on the water and sinks. It is a circular net with small weights distributed around its edge. It looks so nice with the effect splash of the net on the water during the morning twilight.
