People / Meet the Maiko

These two fine young ladies are Maiko, apprentice Geisha. I met them at Nakamise street, near Sensoji temple, Asakusa. At the back of Sensoji temple lies one of the biggest Geisha districts in Tokyo, the Kannonura street. They looked in hurry when i met them, but when i asked if i could take a picture of them, they nicely said yes and gave me these lovely smiles
