Tatung is a man/woman who his/her body possessed by the gods as a channel. Every year at Singkawang, thousands of Tatung will gather at the cultural event of Cap Go Meh. Each Tatung will make performance according of the god who possesses. After possessed, a Tatung will feel very tired and lost all his/her energy for some times.
