Culture / Sake Barrells at Shrine

Sake Barrells at Meiji Jingu Shrine. The barrels are empty and only meant for decoration. Sake manufacturers in Japan usually donate sake (and the decoration barrel) to shrine as Japanese believe that sake acts as a symbolic unification of God and people.
