A scenery from Ampel Mosque in Surabaya, East Java. Ampel Mosque was built by Raden Rahmat Rahmatullah (famous as Sunan Ampel) in 1421 AD. Sunan Ampel and 8 others is well known as Wali Songo, or the ones that spreading Islam for the very first time in Indonesia. Sunan Ampel's tomb is placed within Ampel Mosque complex.
