In Jodhpur city of Rajasthan , India , in a certain part of the old city most houses are painted blue. Jodhpur is also known as "the blue city", for this reason. During my visit to Jodhpur, i have been lucky enough to be hosted by one such squeaky clean blue-house owner.The lady , a widow at an early age, had a tough time bringing up her three kids, selling Rakhis. The house is woven and maintained with a lot of love.The blue house interiors (and exteriors) are perhaps one of the most interesting form of architecture i have ever experienced.
