Culture / Uyap

It is made of brined small fish or small shrimp, Uyap or Ginamos or collectively known as Bagoong, is a famous Filipino appetizer delicacy which many Westerners find its smell to be quite repulsive. It can be eaten raw along with a crunchy green mango. Or it can be cooked with oil, vegetables and buwad or dried fish. It's very tasty.
