Culture / Piring Dance

Piring Dance (Tari Piring) is one of the most traditional dance originated from Minangkabau, Sumatera Barat. The dance is performed by swinging plates rhythmically without dropping them. The dance itself is an expression of gratitude towards God for His blessing on successful harvest crops.
