Culture / Ogoh-ogoh

A day before Bali Hindu's new year, people are carrying ogoh-ogoh (ogre) to symbolise bad spirit and then they'll burn these ogoh-ogoh to symbolise they throw away the bad spirits. Like Balinese in Bali, Balinese in Jakarta have their ogoh-ogoh carnival yearly, held in national monument Monas, Jakarta.
