In January 2013, my wife and I took the opportunity to trek with guides to see the Susa Family. It just so happened that we visited on the infamous Diane Fosey's Birthday and spent an hour with our favorite Mountain Gorilla Family. It was uplifting to actually see tourism money making a difference to protect this amazing creatures.
