Nature / Cabbage Leaves

Cutting the cabbage for dinner, II noticed the leaves-- so structured as to be almost sculpted. The light clung to the form and lent it a certain iridescence so that the leaves almost seemed to glow of their own. The cellular organization of the leaves in interplay with the light open a window into the inner workings of nature.
