Most Rotenese are farmers, and usually they work at fields that are far away from their homes. So they built field houses, where they can take a rest during the day while in the field. The field house is simple, made of leaves (bebak) and trunks. Simple is fine, as long as it provides a shelter from the sweltering heat.
