Chhata festival is organized every year on the day of Mahalaya just before the most popular Hindu Festival known as Durga puja.It was a tribal festival which was started by Philip Hembram, a tribal officer of the locality.In this festival tribals sing and dance much to enjoy of the people who assemble there. In this picture tribal boys and girls are dancing to the vibrant tune.
