Culture / Wae Lu'u Manok Kapo

Wae Lu'u and Manok Kapo are the two mandatory ritual to go through by visitor when visiting the Wae Rebo Ethnic Village. The ritual is led by the Ethnic Elders (tetua Adat) to mediate and introduce us to the holy spirit of Wae Rebo ancestor, so that our visit will be fully welcomed by the entire nature in Wae Rebo Village. As a welcoming symbol, a white chicken will be slaughtered and cooked for the visitor's diner.
