Culture / Aliwan Dancer

Aliwan Festival is a yearly competition from among the different cultural dance group in the Philippines. Represented by different regions, they compete for the prestigious title more than the 1million peso cash prize. The parade and dance competition showcase creativity in costume design and props, concept that represents unique regional practices and culture and execution of their dance. It;s a yearly festival held in the month of April in the CCP grounds Roxas Blvd.Manila
