Culture / Becoming Red in Lathmar Holi As Sense of Love

Set of men in all red gulal who were singing songs of Ballads about the romance between the prominent Hindu gods Lord Krishna and Radha Rani as sense of love to celebrate Lathmar Holi at the temple in Nandgaon village, Uttar Pradesh, India. There is a popular legend behind it that Lord Krishna started applying colour on Radha's face to make her on like him. In Holi, colors are practiced: green, yellow, blue, pink and red. Thought red is popular as traditionally that brides wear and as an auspicious color in India. But there is not actually preference color in Holi.
