People / The Hereditary Tradition of Vegetable Floating Market On Dal Lak

A busy morning of the floating vegetable market on Dal lake, called Sabzi market, located in Srinagar, the capital city of Kashmir, India. The Sabzi market takes place every early morning from 04.00 to 06.00. It is a wholesale vegetable market where the selling and buying takes place from one boat to anothers. It is where the farmers bring their products from their own farm around Dal lake and then the sellers buy them to be sold in the market, and always done only by Kashmiri men.
