Rath Yatra or Chariot festival is a Hindu festival that involves transporting deities on a chariot. During the festival devotees from all over the world help pull the lords' chariot. The huge procession accompanying the chariot play devotional song with drums. tambourines, trumpets etc. The festival has become common sight in most major cities of the world since 1968 through ISKON Hare Krishna movement
