Nature / The Price of Jade

Prospectors search for jade at a jade mine in Hpakant township, Kachin State, Myanmar on July 8, 2013. Hpakant is know as the 'Land of Jade'. It produces the best quality of the stone which the Chinese have prized during millennia for its beauty and symbolism. 'Gold is valuable but jade is priceless' runs an old Chinese saying.
