Wayang wong, also known as Wayang orang (literally 'human wayang)', is a type of classical Javanese dance. wayang wong (Javanese) is a puppet that is played using a person as a character in the story of the puppet. Puppet person I was created by the Sultan Hamangkurat in 1731.
