Hot Air Balloon Festival is held in Taunggyi, Capital of Shan Stat. There are three types of Hot Air Balloon and this type of Hot Air Balloon is called Nya-Mie-Gyi that means (the night that are decorated with fireworks). These balloons are released at night and a lot of fireworks are attached with the handmade wood frame below it. Amazing art works are drawn on the Hot Air Balloons and they are made of papers which are made by the local people with the traditional method.
