Jhatka or Chatka meaning "Killing" in Sanskrit is meat freom an animal after its grown under the oath of consecration and vow and slaughtered when the religious occation or event arrives to appease or maintain favour with a divine agency. Hinduism prefers this single strike decapitation against Kutha or slow slaughtering like Jewish Slaughter (Shechita) or islamic slaughter (dhabihah). This animal sacrifice or ritual scarifice is done by many ancient communities and civilisations in the world.
