This figurine symbolizing demonic spirit was adorned well during the ritual of purifying. The idol was carried around to sacred shrines sited in the woods. There all the idols were cited a prayer by a local priest (pemangku) and sprinkled holly water to elixir all the bad influence that harmful to the people.
