Culture / Sundry Thangka

Thangka or Mandala was a picture of Buddha in a big frame, made of silk. Tibetan people treat Thangka as a possessions kept in temple. Only once a year just a week after Lunar new year the Thangka were taken out and opened under sunshine for about an hour.
