Nature / Hovering for Fishing.

A Stork-billed Kingfisher was hovering above the Murky water to snatch the fish. Normally Kingfisher used to dive directly to the water when they could see the fish clearly. However, If situation was difficult to differentiate whether it was Fish or not as water was murky, they used to hover over the water to make sure whether it was fish or not. Only when it was sure that it was a fish, they dived to it. This picture was taken at Singapore Pasir Ris Mangroves while Stork billed Kingfisher was hovering for a second.
