Lawang is a small village located at the northern foot of Mount Rinjani. Beautiful small village at an altitude of about 1,156 m presents a beautiful natural scenery as well as the starting point of the popular climbing path to Mount Rinjani (3,726 m asl). Life at the foot of Mount Rinjani porter, is one of the people's livelihood and Sembalun Senaru. The porter assist climbers in bringing the goods to pass bawaanya Rinjani mountain.
