She is an Indian widow. According to common practice, widows in India need to comply with many different superstitions of the genre. For e.g. they should not wear any color other than white “saree”, they should not wear any ornaments or make-up and they also should not eat any type of non-veg food. The place where I met her, was very far away from her residence. She came to that place all alone just to witness the Ratha-Yatra. Some one gave her a Ice Cream and she was really enjoying it.
