Culture / Gajan of Rural Bengal 3

All the chosen Gajan devotees, women and men, by virtue of their 7 days penance, lying in a row on the ground waiting to start the final ritual of rolling sidewise towards the temple of Lord Shiva. All the other women of the village are there who are continuously pouring water on the devotees as a part of the rituals that help beating the heat.
